This year, Daylan Krozendijk and Ferdinand Franca, two professionals in the field of theatre, getting along with the Jeugdtheaterschool Drazans of Curacao, they will offer us young theater lovers, once again the opportunity to enhance their theatrical knowledge as well as helping them in their artistic and professional processes.
This will start on Sunday, October 1st and end on October 6th with a great theatrical presentation. The program will be held at the Washington Youth Center in The North. The project called: 25 Hours of Theatre aims that our young people between the ages of 13 and 18, have 25 hours to work on a theater presentation. This will be presented on Friday, October 6th starting at 7pm. The young people will receive professional guides from coaches (teachers and theater directors), both national, regional and international.
The young people will be divided into groups and assigned a specific task to work with. The intention is to give young people the opportunity to come with their own creations, prepare a work from scratch and work with other young people and learn life skills such as communication, creativity and much more. At the end they will present their products/theatrical presentations to the general public.
We, Daylan and Ferdinand, wanted to invite all the young people who are in the theater world or we wanted to learn more about him, so as not to miss this great opportunity. With this project we want to prepare young people in their theatrical training and thus be able to continue with the beautiful discipline of Art here. Due to the great success of last year with the 20 hours of Theater, we want to continue with projects and programs like this, to make our Theater in Aruba great. Our focuses are our young people who must continue to keep the discipline of Theatre alive for the next generation.
