The University of Aruba (UA) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the SEDI Energy and Science Foundation (ESF). This collaboration is founded on a shared commitment to harness the potential of research, education, and science for the betterment of the Caribbean region.
The primary objectives of this MoU include advocating for research and innovation in sustainable solutions, fostering technological breakthroughs through joint research initiatives, empowering the next generation of leaders through student exchanges and collaborative educational modules, and expanding collaborative networks with other institutions and experts.
The partnership between UA and ESF will allow for an increase in the impact that each organization can achieve through sharing of each other’s resources and infrastructure. This MoU will allow, amongst others. closer collaboration with the UA’s SISSTEM program and the Ed Cheung Science and Innovation Center. Together, they aim to support STEM education and research for our island’s sustainable development challenges.
