Justice Minister Rocco Tjon elaborated on the LAFT law from the time it was initiated. The LAFT law was initiated by a royal decree (KB) due to the financial mismanagement of the Eman cabinet (AVP) government that had been in the past.
According to Minister Tjon at the time that he took note of a motion and then saw the Royal Decree, KB that Aruba received due to the financial mismanagement is incredible to believe the actions that are today in parliament.
Everything is just the opposite of what they say in the parliament. The KB that Aruba received because of the AVP party, shows all the deficit tables that the management of Mike Eman led to it. According to the Minister of Justice Rocco Tjon in 2010 Aruba had a deficit of 189 million florins, 2011 a deficit of 325 million florins, in 2012 a deficit of 442 million florins, and until the KB came in last year there was a deficit of 335 million florins. This is contrary to the rhetoric of the AVP faction in parliament that they had a good financial management. We cannot understand this idea of AVP fraction. The KB of July 11, 2014 everyone can read very clear what the management of Mike Eman led to it.
However, after Aruba received a KB and the cabinet Mike Eman agreed to an unconstitutional Ordinance for Financial Supervision, LAFT. After Aruba gained the KB and the LAFT, Eman’s cabinet did not have a good financial management either.
All the reports from the financial supervision college indicates and literally talk about the budgets of the cabinet of Mike Eman consist of unrealistic figures and what is even worse is in the KB they are talking about cosmetic handling, the cosmetic maneuvers that were made to close a budget where they budgeted and projected unrealistic economic growth and besides that used a supposed opening of the refinery that to this day we all know that never opened, but it was a bad attempt if to close the budget, this is without talking about the other points like the report of BO Aruba, of 1.6 billion, of all the places that to this day were supposedly budgeted MFA San Nicolas that never came, 400 coordinators, so a lot of disparate things Aruba was governed under the cabinet of Eman that time.
The community of Aruba should be aware of the KB and when reading this it can be clearly seen that the first evaluation is hilarious.
As Minister Rocco Tjon has already explained in the past, 2+2=4, but in the parliament it is explained at a lower level than 1+1=2 to understand that whatever you do at the end of the day, whatever the Dutch government tells you 1+1=3 with a little principle you would not agree with this. Every professional and every person with a memory knows that 1+1=2.
According to Minister Rocco Tjon in one of the IPKO meetings Benny Sevinger told a story in which the Netherlands forced the Eman cabinet, when they went Security Council they had to lobby to get the votes for the Netherlands, they forced Benny Sevinger to give support. This was a situation that bothered Benny Sevinger at the time, but Minister Rocco Tjon can’t understand that at the moment he wants to come up with changes in a LAFT that the Netherlands has put on Aruba that all the councils say is unconstitutional and should just come up with changes and now he is coming up with changes to withdraw the right, in order to safeguard the position of the parliament’s budget right and yet he is against it. Minister of Justice Rocco Tjon cannot understand this reaction of Benny Sevinger.
