Three different classes received their Basic Police, MBO and Hoger Kader Opleiding (HKO) diplomas in a friendly atmosphere surrounded by family- and colleagues 62 police officers received their diplomas. Minister Endy Croes represented colleague Minister Rocco Tjon on this special occasion. There are about 62 police officers of three different classes who received the diploma Basic of Police, police studio level four (4) of MBO and Senior Management Courses (HKO).

Minister Endy Croes together with High Commissioner Mr. Ramon Arnhemy, head of the police department, Jeannette Richardson-Baars awarded diplomas to police officers. Minister Endy Croes spoke this morning and emphasized the fact that as crime rates continue to rise, it is important to ensure that the Aruba Police Corps as an organization can meet the demands of this development. Therefore, according to the Ministry of Justice’s management plan, the main point is to remain invested in human capital and invested in our police officers.

By creating adequate working conditions, ensuring the necessary materials, but also continuing to expand knowledge by making valuable investments in education. Education is the engine of a country and with these investments people can rest assured that the Aruba Police Corps will continue to guarantee the safety of our entire community.

The Police Corps of Aruba is undergoing a reorganization and this is extremely important considering the different phenomena of criminality that are reported, among others, the “crime” image analyzed by the police. For this process to go smoothly, the leadership of each police officer is so important. Personal leadership because at the end of the day the image of the Political Corps of Aruba is influenced in a positive and perhaps less positive way by attitude and leadership. Each police officer is a leader in their own right and that strengthens the Aruba Police Corps. As an organization, the Political Corps of Aruba has just celebrated its 37th anniversary. For the younger ones, you are part of a dynamic body that has a great career and for the more experienced ones it is in your hands together with the higher command to ensure that this body can celebrate many more years and continue to enjoy the respect both locally and internationally. To conclude, on behalf of the Government of Aruba, Minister Endy Croes congratulated the 62 police officers who received their diplomas.
