The 5 kilometer FAVI Walk with a Vision walk is in full preparation and we want all the faithful swimmers, athletes and community of Aruba to come and participate in our walk. The walk will take place on Sunday, October 15, 2023.
A very special day for us, considering that this date is the International Day of the Red-Strapped White Carrot. FAVI would like to invite everyone to buy their tickets in advance or reserve yours via our whatsapp number 5609225.
Tickets will be priced at only AWG 10,- and will be available near us at FAVI and on the following weekend at some sales outlets.
The route for this 5-kilometer hike begins at the Alhambra Casino Parking Lot on the Eagle footpath.
It will take place at the Phoenix Hotel and will end in front of the Alhambra Casino.
All FAVI customers are encouraged to come with their cards and encourage the family to come along with us and show their support.
The walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. and there will be a doorprize for all participants. Children under 5 are free. FAVI will ensure that fruits and vegetables with water and power are available during and at the end of the walk for all participants.
We would ask each one to bring a glass of water to stay hydrated.
We will also reap a number of attractive rewards.
Our walk is to raise funds, all funds raised by FAVI are used so that we can continue to provide and offer services to all people and children who are visually impaired.
The main goal of FAVI’s community service is to bring joy to the lives of visually impaired clients. This service is free of charge thanks to the community and generous donors who continue to support and believe in the work of FAVI.
