Team Aruba is ready for the BMX Latin American Championship

This coming weekend, Team Aruba will compete in the Latin American BMX Championship that will take place at the Jaburibari track in Aruba. Recently, Team Aruba gave their riders their jerseys/uniforms for this great championship and with this, Team Aruba is ready for the championship that will take place during the weekend of September 9th and 10th.

More than 150 BMX racers are expected to compete in Aruba over the coming weekend, with teams from, among others, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Curacao, Ecuador, Mexico, El Salvador. The races will take place between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 9. On Sunday, September 10, the races will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m.

Lighting

On Friday night, September 1, 6 lightposts went up in Jaburibari Park to illuminate the BMX track for our youth. The work continues, says Minister Endy Croes. The lights at Jaburibari BMX Track were lit for the first time and are in the testing phase. Thanks to FFD, Lotto pa Deporte, Elmar and all stakeholders.

The invitation remains for the Aruban community to visit the Jaburibari Track during this upcoming weekend and support the young riders of Team Aruba.
