More than 1000 kilos of weed in a cargo of kitchen cabinets in the port of Rotterdam

In a container from Canada containing a cargo of kitchen cabinets, customs officials in the port of Rotterdam have discovered more than a thousand kilos of weed, the Public Prosecutor’s Office reports on Wednesday. The find consisted of 2317 packages and contained 1042 kilos of marijuana, which according to the prosecutor’s office has a street value of more than five million euros.

The drugs were discovered when the container went through the scanner during a routine inspection. The kitchen cabinets were destined for a company in Germany. The drugs have been destroyed.
