On Saturday afternoon, the Narcotics Unit together with the San Nicolas Police conducted a large-scale operation in San Nicolas where a marijuana plantation and several packages of drugs were found in the house. The Police found weapons and ammunition.
The Narcotics Unit detained a 32-year-old male with the initials A.A.M. born in Aruba and a 25-year-old female with the initials R.N.A. born in Aruba. It is not ruled out that there could be more arrests.
The Narcotics Unit is a unit of the Aruba Police Corps that was officially established on August 1, 2023. The unit investigates all drug sales from homes, streets, delivery, social platforms and even hotel areas.
