On Monday 24 April 2023 DTI held an Employee wellbeing retreat-day for its personal connection with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
This year the International Labour Organization (ILO) commemorates the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on 28 April 2023. The theme of this year’s event is “A Safe and Healthy Working Environment ” A Fundamental Right.
Paying attention to this issue, DTI has been providing during the month of April information on the various inspections and complaints that DTI is making to raise awareness among the people of Aruba on the security side.
DTI started the safety week with a special day dedicated to its staff to work on their overall well-being to achieve a more pleasant and healthy working environment. And so DTI has given its content to the theme A Safe and Healthy Working Environment.
The Employee Wellbeing Retreat-day was held at Moreu Facilitation & Healing Center under the guidance of Ms. Belquis Moreu and staff. On this day the staff received various information such as how to attend to their own general well-being, which is attended with their way of thinking, emotions, physical activities, teamwork and had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the day. Staff were asked to dress as comfortably as possible and left their safety shoes at home to attend to themselves.
DTI suggests that all companies and departments take initiative and focus on the overall well-being of their employees, where the well-being of your employees is central so that they can provide a better service and contribution to the people of Aruba.
