Recently, Minister of Education and Sports Endy Croes attended Capstone fair 2023 at Harbour House Aruba. A special event, where eleven teachers from different levels of education were celebrated, brought their Master of Science in Education (MSE) here in Aruba.
This study was a combination and collaboration of the Arubano Pedagogical Institute (IPA) and Wayne State College. The team from Wayne State College was present in Aruba and gave a presentation of several innovative works.
The Education Commissioner points out that the two years of preparation for this study are a living example of the four (4) C’s of 21st century skills, which stand for communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity. Minister Endy Croes thanked Minister Plenipotentiary Joselin Croes in Washington that five years ago he made the first contacts with Wayne State College and managed to sign a MoU, which resulted in a wonderful opportunity for Aruba.
Many thanks to IPA, the Wayne State College team, the Dean of the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences, Dr. Nick Shudak, Mentor for Facilitators and Community Program Coordinator dr. Johanna Barnes, M.D. and Kim Linduska of the Higher Learning Commission, Government of Aruba and all those who made this possible. Finally, Minister Endy Croes congratulates the 11 teachers who have achieved their Master of Science in Education and says he is very proud of them.
