British Airways flights create new opportunities for Aruba in the European market. British Airways will be selling flights to Aruba but will also be selling packages through British Airways Holidays and other tour operators. This opens up new doors as they have the opportunity to reach other customers through Aruba.
On the inaugural flight on 26 March, a group of tour operators from England came to Aruba as part of a familiarity trip (FAM trip), along with representatives from British Airways and A.T.A. This type of familiarization trip creates an opportunity for operators to absorb more of Aruba as a destination but also to share their own experiences with their clients.
Participants stayed a few days at Tamarijn All Inclusive and a few days at Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort to experience different areas and different hotel products. He also visited the Boardwalk Boutique Hotel, Ritz Carlton Aruba, Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, Embassy Suites Aruba, Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino, Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort and Aruba Ocean Villas. They also did a tour to different areas of Aruba and a trip on catamaran with De Palm Tours.
The A.T.A. is grateful to all partners and team members who made the UK operators’ trip unforgettable.
