Four control room employees of the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force (KPCN) and two employees of the Caribbean Netherlands Fire Brigade (BKCN) followed an intensive course last November by Oppstap Zorg en Welzijn. The aim of this course was to certify colleagues from the control room as dispatchers.
Last Monday, February 20th , the participants received a certificate for passing the course. Chief Control Room, mr. Aishel Girigorie emphasizes the importance of this course; ‘This course contributes enormously to the further development of the control room’.
For the first time, the BKCN took part in this course to get an impression of what the procedure is when the control room receives an emergency call. This unique participation contributes to the improvement of the cooperation between the partners. The participants had successfully completed the course.
The students received their certificates from Mr. Girigorie and Deputy Chief of Police/ Chief of Operations, mr. Ronald Zwarter, in the presence of the local commanders of the BKCN, Thammy Albertsz and Gravey Anthonij.
